Puerto Galera, Mindoro
I am gonna introduce a wonderful place to dive in the Philippines, the Puerto Galera. PG island is a three-hour drive from Manila, you can arrange the shuttle service through the information online. The route we took was a drive from Manila to Batanga them a boat from Batanga to PG. A special point to mention is that there are a lot of cats around the Batanga ferry. If you are a cat lover, I believe you will love this place ( though the cats there are starved and quite small)
We choose the Garden of Eden as our diving resort. It is just a 30-second walk from the resort to the boat, a very convenient place for diving. The resort is quite cozy with open tables and a swimming pool, you can enjoy the sun and local food at the resort without too much effort.

Let me explain the night dive first, it was the most special dive for this time. We faced a strong current but the creatures were all around and you can easily take pictures with your camera. The three dives in Verde island were also amazing, we were surrounded by fishes and the visibility over there was pretty awesome, you can find barracuda, yellowfin jack, stonefish, crown fish, octopus, sea turtles, sea slugs and other many species underwater. Verde island is a well-protected place that deserves visiting if you have a plan visiting PG island.
Not only the underwater world but the territory world you can explore. You can find bars, restaurants(Korean, Chinese, American, local Phillipson, and more), massage, local BBQ stands, and some interesting shows. And I would recommend you visit here if you are totally a big fan of Durian.
If you have extra time staying here in PG, I would also recommend you visit the white beach which is about half an hour’s drive from PG. you can purchase T-shirts, pains, food, and souvenirs over there, just remember to make bargains with the vendor then you definitely will get a perfect price for your merchandise.
